School or college is a place where we acquire theoretical concepts of fundamental principles some of which are not operational or different from what we face when looking for job. This tells us that what we fundamentally learnt from school is different from the experience in the labour market. No knowing school in Nigeria that has effectively developed curriculum in interpersonal relationship and networking that can equip you to master how to make the necessary link that can land you the much-needed work. Though some job seeks who have been involved in the departmental associations or student unions would have branded themselves in this area and found it very easy to make the necessary contact in life after school. If you have a well package resume you still need to get it across to the people that can influence your employment. Therefore, you need to ground yourself in this area while in school to be able to adjust well in the life after school that can help you in getting the much-needed job.
Buying and Selling
This art of business administration sometimes is inborn and anybody that is blessed with this will make a good in-pact when searching for the job. Though for those who are studying business administration they might have learning rudiment of buying and selling , but experience has showing where those who major in this area are not doing well in that area when it matters most! This art requires developing skills in simple arithmetic to enable you develop cost-effective analysis that will enable you determine the net sale from a gross sale. This kind of rudiment is very fundamental to the survival of any company. If you can develop yourself in this area and master it you have little problem in pushing yourself to the acceptable level of the prospective employer.

Whether small or big business, you need capital either to start off your business or run it. The art of doing this is outside the College curriculum. If you can develop yourself in the area of fund raising
for any project, may be in your locality to achieve any visible project is a testimony of good credential that can attract attention of the prospective employer. For instance, doing this difficult time of gaining employment, you might develop yourself in art of fund raising for business survival.
Rejection
In life, we experience a lot of disappointment in the area of not getting our desire want. No school teaches you how to handle rejection but develop your potential and maturity to tackle any disappointment as it occurs in life. You can attend a job interview where you are convinced that you did well and yet not getting the job. This should not indicate the end of the world, but more prepared and work hard to do better in the next interview. This is all about life and what we experience
Good Money Manager
The Financial Management you are taught in School is even broken most of the time. For instance, I could remember my school days when I often broke due to my life style, on several times I become indebtedness to my liking. This to me it has to do with what one to do in life style. Whereas if you demonstrated your practical skills in handling money and the potential employer is impressed, he would give you the job because the employer want somebody that keep his business going for him.
However, having noted the above points in this article, it is important to know that you need college or university education to start with. The theoretical knowledge you acquire in this area will guide you when you face practical experience after school. Like what is happening in our youths service corps where members are encouraged to learn additional handwork in addition to their college skills.
